I just purchased #103, Berry Slouch, from Patternfish. I am reading the pattern and I’m confused. On Row 3, is there a place marker missing from the last repeat…kfb, k3. ….?
If there are 16 stitches on the needle, I think you need one more marker at the end of the row. Please advise as this will affect the whole hat. The directions at the bottom of the page say to leave EoR marker in place but remove other 3 markers. If I follow Row 3 as is, I have only placed 3 markers total. Am I right?
Thanks!
Love, your patterns:)

Hi Carol Ann,
You are right, there are 4 stitch markers used in this pattern.
In the pattern directions written between R1: and R2: the pattern reads: “… Place unique stitch marker to mark the End of Round {EoR}”. That’s the first stitch marker that is placed.
Then, when you knit Round 3, you only need to place the other 3 markers. The pattern has you working with 4 sections, each with the same number of stitches. I hope this helps.
Thanks so much for writing and for your kind words. If there are ever any other questions, or if I can help further, please feel free to leave a comment or email me at fibreartisans (at) gmail (dot) com replacing the words in brackets with the appropriate symbols.
Cheers,
Luise
